When it accounts 13 years, became famous thanks to a blog who wrote under the pen name Gul Makai for BBC in which chronicled his life under the regime of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (terrorist organization associated with the Taliban movement, which proclaims the Islamic religious extremism and jihadism) in the valley of Swat river.
The Taliban forced to close private schools prohibited the education of girls between 2003 and 2009. In that year, the documentary Classes Loss, Death of education of women (led by Adam Ellick and Irfan Asharaf, the New York Times) , he presented to Malala and the impossibility of education for women in these areas.
