An unsolved mystery
It was a dark and cold night and Betsy had to go to work, but she had a baby to take
care of. She was thinking about calling an agency to get a nanny for her baby when
suddenly, the doorbell rang. She opened the door and it was her youngest sister. She
told her she needed a nanny and her sister said she could take care of her baby. Betsy
thanked her and left.
While Betsy's sister was watching TV, the telephone rang. She answered because her
boyfriend told her he was going to call her, but there was nobody on the phone. She
believed it might have been a wrong number and she continued watching TV. The
phone rang again, but nobody was on the phone either. She was afraid of these strange
phone calls
She decided to call 911 and tell them about it. The operator asked her to be calm, and
said that it might be a prank and that she could call them again if she received another
strange call. When the phone rang again and nobody answered, she called 911 to report
the phone calls. The operator asked her to get out of the house with the baby, and told
her they would track the call. Everybody got surprised when they discovered that the
phone calls had come from the house. She never received another strange phone call
again or knew what had happened exactly.
