Ted: It was fine. All my family went to the park. And what about you? (Estuvo bien. Todo mi familia fue al parque. ¿Qué hay de ti)

Tom: We stayed home. On Sunday, we spent the afternoon in the yard. What did you do in the park? (Nosotros nos quedamos en casa. El domingo, pasamos la tarde en el jardín. ¿Qué hicieron ustedes en el parque?)

Ted: Nothing special. My father read the newpaper, my mother was read a book, and my brother and I played cards. (Nada especial. mi padre leyó el periódico, mi madre leyó un libro, mis hermanos y yo jugamos cartas)
