Explicación:

Darwiniana is a scientific, peer reviewed journal dedicated to original papers and reviews in botany except those concerning applied aspects, like agronomical research. In spite of the different subjects covered by the articles (plant systematics, phytogeography, structure, development, and cytogenetics), it is right to say that Darwiniana’s main scope is Plant Systematics, particularly of Vascular Plants, gathering the highest proportion of floristic and taxonomical information for the flora of southern South America. Darwiniana journal is funded by the National Academy of Science, Argentina, being open to the botanical community both local and international. The print version (ISSN 0011-6793) publishes continuously since 1922. The on-line version (ISSN 1850-1702) is available since 2001 through the Open Journal System (OJS) at Darwinion’s website.
