En este artículo, el autor ofrece, en primer lugar, una visión general sobre el editorial, y posteriormente analiza el uso concreto que se hace de la lengua en un texto representativo perteneciente a este género periodístico, centrándose, sucesivamente, en el orden de las palabras en los grupos sintagmáticos nominales, la aposición, las proposiciones de relativo, el valor de las formas verbales, la concordancia verbal, el circunloquio, la metáfora, el significado y la formación de palabras.

Abstract
LANGUAGE AND STYLE OF THE EDITORIAL ARTICLE
In this article, the author offers, firstly, a general view about the editorial, and afterwards he analyses the particular use of the language made in a representative text belonging to this journalistic gender, centring his attention, successively, on the words order in the nominal syntagmatic groups, the apposition, the relative clauses, the verbal forms value, the verbal agreement, the circumlocution, the metaphor, the meaning and the words formation.
