My best friend

I met my best friend two years ago when I was on holiday. It was a sunny day and I went to the beach. He arrived with a group of other friends and started playing beach volleyball near where I was. One of his friends kicked sand over me. He thought it was a joke. Alan ran over and apologized. I was quite angry but I soon calmed down. He seemed so nice. We agreed to meet later that day. Alan and I have been friends ever since.
