Well, this place has always been a dream to visit and experience. This City is a big catch in terms of finance, education, travel and many other opportunities for professionals and non-professionals all over the world.
London
London is the capital city of England in the United Kingdom(The UK consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and stands on the River Thames. The name of the river sounds familiar, doesn't it?? Yep, you guessed it right! its mentioned in the Comedy Classic Book Three Men in a Boat by Jerome K Jerome. Its one of the great financial centres of the world and boasts about its educational exposure having world class universities such as The Imperial College,London School of Economics and much more. In terms of sports,London is the first city to have hosted 3 Summer Olympics.
In terms of travel and tourism,London contains 4 World Heritage Sites namely The Tower Bridge,The Palace of Westminister,Kew Gardens and St.MArgaret’s Church.
*Fun Fact:The London Bridge is not the same as the Tower Bridge.Something which I found out later on.We’ve all heard the popular nursery rhyme ‘London Bridge is Falling Down’,but in reality,the London Bridge is something very different from what has been depicted in the rhymes.
The whole of the UK especially Scotland is on top of my travel bucket list and I hope to visit these amazing aesthetic places someday.
