Un autobús parte del reposo y se mueve con una aceleración constante de 5m/s2. Encuentre su velocidad y distancia recorrida después de transcurrir 4s.

En el problema existe un movimiento rectilíneo uniformemente acelerado, este tipo de movimiento se caracteriza por poseer aceleración constante y velocidad variable.

a) Encuentre su velocidad a los 4 segundos.

Nos pide que calculemos la velocidad final por ello usaremos la siguiente fórmula:

$\boldsymbol{\boxed{\mathrm{v_f = v_o + at}}}$

Donde

✔ $\mathrm{v_o: velocidad\:inicial}$ ✔ $\mathsf{a: aceleraci\'on}$

✔ $\mathrm{v_f: velocidad\:final}$ ✔ $\mathsf{t: tiempo}$

Datos del problema

☛ $\mathsf{v_o=0\:m/s}$ ☛ $\mathsf{a=5\:m/s^2}$ ☛ $\mathsf{t=4\:s}}$

Reemplazamos

$\center \mathsf{v_f = v_o + at}\\\\\center \mathsf{v_f = 0 + (5)(4)}\\\\\center \mathsf{v_f = 0 + (20)}\\\\\center \boxed{\boldsymbol{\boxed{\mathsf{v_f = 20\:m/s}}}}$

b) Encuentre la distancia recorrida

Para calcular su distancia usaremos lo siguiente

Donde
