MY JOURNEY TO MANCHESTER


Last year, I go to Manchester because my friend has a

wedding party. I speak to my friend about the journey and

she gives me the directions. She says that I can travel

either by train or by bus. I choose to go by train because

I know that it is quicker and more comfortable, even

though I pay more money. I buy a return ticket and I take

a train from the Stoke station. I spend about an hour on

the train but it is a nice journey. I sit by the window and

read an interesting book. The conductor is very kind and

tells me when it is time to get off. The train comes on

time and I get to Manchester four hours before the

wedding. I go shopping and find a lovely present for my

friend. I think it is a very nice day.

Last year, I WENT to Manchester because my friend HAD a

wedding party. I SPOKE to my friend about the journey and

she GAVE me the directions. She SAID that I COULD travel

either by train or by bus. I CHOSE to WENT by train because

I KNEW that it is quicker and more comfortable, even

though I PAID more money. I BOUGHT a return ticket and I TOOK

a train from the Stoke station. I SPENT about an hour on

the train but it is a nice journey. I SAT by the window and

read an interesting book. The conductor WAS very kind and

TOLD me when it WAS time to get off. The train CAME on

time and I GOT to Manchester four hours before the

wedding. I WENT shopping and FOUND a lovely present for my

friend. I think it WAS a very nice day.
