ruby grant (1) lives in a town near manchester. she (2) started at a high school in the city center. but life is very different for ruby this month. she (3) has with a Chinese family in Shanghai. school in shanghai (4) they study early in the morning at 7:30, not like in manchester. At home in manchester, ruby (5) goes home for lunch (6) they eat fish and rice at school. Ruby (7) doesn't speak Chinese, but her friends understand English, so she can talk to them. Every night ruby and her chinese friends meet (8) and talk about life in manchester and shanghai. ruby (9) is very happy to be there
