Los gerundios e infinitivos se usan cuando el verbo cumple la función de sujeto u objeto de la oración.
Gerundios e Infinitivos.
Los gerundios se forma agregándole '-ing' al verbo y el infinitivo usando la preposición 'to' antes del verbo.
Se usa el gerundio o infinitivo cuando:
- Un verbo va seguido de otro verbo
- El verbo cumple la función de sujeto u objeto de la oración.
- Después de adjetivos se usa el infinitivo
- Después de preposiciones y verbos frasales se usa el gerundio.
- I prefer eating / to eat savoury foods rather than sweets.
- My dad has managed to fix our computer.
