Ejemplo de cuento corto haciendo uso de pronombres personales:
Many centuries ago, in a distant place lived a lonely prince in a castle that his late parents had built for him. In addition to the castle, they had also built a kind of underground room to which the young prince was prohibited from entering. After years of curiosity and fear about the noises that came from there, the prince decides to find out what is in the room, removes the heavy lock on the door, opens it and enters a dark room. Suddenly, in the middle of the darkness, he hears a growl and chains crawling, he brings a torch to the direction of the noise to discover that there is a giant dragon imprisoned in his castle, he said to himself: "Why would they have a hidden dragon in the castle, it must be to protect us. " The creature approached him and sniffed him. Seeing that the dragon was calm, the prince removes his chains and says "Now we are friends, I give you the freedom to do what you want!". The dragon immediately leaves the castle and flies around it, perches on one of the towers, looks at the prince and exclaims with an almost human voice "Your parents hid me here because I was small, they feared for my safety, now that I am grown up, I will take care of you because you are my friend. " The dragon protected the castle and the prince until the end of days.
