I had an amazing surprise while I ___ around India last year. I ___ dinner in a restaurant un Delhi when someone ____ in and sat at the table next to me. She _____ familiar, but I couldn't remember who she was. We ____ talking, and the I realizar- It was Maggie, my best friend from elementary school!.

But the story ____ there. When I ___ the airport on the last day of my vacation, who did I see there? Maggie, of course. She ___ for the same flight, and her seat was right in front of mine in the plane!.

¿Para qué se usa el past continuous?

Se utiliza para hablar de una acción que ocurrió en el pasado y continúo durante cierto periodo de tiempo. Se debe utilizar el verbo “to be” para construir este tiempo verbal.
