A TALE OF TWO SYDNEYS
Last April two British teenagers wanted to go to Australia for their summer holiday. But it
was a 24 hour journey by plane and tickets were very expensive. So, Raoul Sebastian
and Emma Nunn, aged 19, looked for cheap tickets on the Internet. They were lucky,
and they booked two tickets to Sydney.
On August 4th they arrived at Heathrow airport. They checked in and waited for the
plane to leave. Six hours later they landed at big airport and changed planes.
Emma: “I was a big worried because the second plane was very small, but I didn´t want
tos ay anything to Raoul”.
Raoul: “After only an hour the plane landed. We looked out of the window. It was a
very small airport. We walked to the information desk and I showed our tickets to the
woman”.
“When i sour next flight?” I asked
She looked at our tickets. “The next flight? This is the end of your journey. Where did
you want to go?”
“Where are we?” I asked.

UNA HISTORIA DE DOS SYDNEYS
El pasado mes de abril, dos adolescentes británicos querían ir a Australia para sus vacaciones de verano. Pero
Era un viaje de 24 horas en avión y los billetes eran muy caros. Entonces, Raoul Sebastian
y Emma Nunn, de 19 años, buscaron entradas baratas en Internet. Ellos fueron afortunados,
y reservaron dos boletos para Sydney.
El 4 de agosto llegaron al aeropuerto de Heathrow. Se registraron y esperaron el
avión para salir. Seis horas después aterrizaron en un gran aeropuerto y cambiaron de avión.
Emma: “Estaba muy preocupada porque el segundo avión era muy pequeño, pero no quería
decirle cualquier cosa a Raoul ”.
Raoul: “Después de solo una hora, el avión aterrizó. Miramos por la ventana. Era un
aeropuerto muy pequeño. Caminamos hasta el mostrador de información y mostré nuestros boletos para el
mujer".
"¿Cuándo me amargaré el próximo vuelo?" Yo pregunté
Ella miró nuestros boletos. “¿El próximo vuelo? Este es el final de tu viaje. Donde hizo
¿quieres ir?"
"¿Dónde estamos?" Yo pregunté.
