Resumen
El artÌculo presenta una breve
sÌntesis de la historia del concepto de
Familia y las transformaciones que el
sistema familiar ha sufrido, en especial
en estos ˙ltimos 50 aÒos.
Describe diferentes configuraciones familiares actuales y relaciona las crisis
sociales y las crisis familiares, para luego plantear reflexiones acerca del futuro de la/s familia/s.
Aborda luego el tema de gÈnero, al que
llama ìla trama invisibleî, conceptualizando el feminismo, y, analizando
premisas y supuestos patriarcales. Abre,
a partir de reflexiones en torno de estos
supuestos, nuevas posibilidades para
deconstruir y re-construir conceptos sobre gÈnero.
El cierre del artÌculo presenta la conexiÛn entre el gÈnero y la escuela y
deja abiertos interrogantes y propuestas.

Family changes and the invisible fabric
of gender
Abstract
The article offers a brief
summary of the history of the concept of
family together with the changes that the
family system has undergone along times, and especially during the past fifty
years. It describes different family
patterns of our times, and also
establishes a relation between social and
family crises, to later introduce
reflections about family / familiesí future.
The article approaches, then, the issue
of gender by calling it ìthe invisible
fabricî, providing a conceptualization of
feminism and analyzing patriarchal
premises and assumptions. On the basis
of reflections generated by those
assumptions, it opens new possibilities
to de-construct and re-construct gender
concepts.
By the end of the discussion, the
connection between gender and school
is presented, offering a space for
questions and proposals.
