se usa el contrario de is, can y are ( isn't, can't and aren't) te recomiendo no usar el not pq al ser tarea de inglés te están enseñando lo que yo básicamente puse de respuesta. En fin era eso, espero haberte ayudado mucha suerte

Explicación:
Para formar las negativas con el Verbo to be se coloca la particula NOT despues de éste.
También se puede negar con contracción.
