Hi Dave,
I’ve just bought a new laptop and I (1) (try) it out. I (2) (usually / drive) into the city but today I thought it would be better to take the train. I
(3) (sit) on the platform now and I (4) (write) this e-mail to you. The train (5) (take) about an hour to get to the station where I get off so I will have plenty of time to check out my new gadget. Actually, you (6) (come) by my house tonight, aren’t you? So, I can show it to you then. My new laptop also
(7) (play) DVDs so maybe we can watch one on it tonight. Anyway,
I (8) (not know) why I’m writing this since I’ll see you tonight. Whatever!
See ya,
Oliver
