One of the traditions that has as its legacy the glorious past of the Cañari-Inca nation, constitutes the festival of the
sun and the harvest of the June solstice, INTI RAYMI.
The Inti Raymi is itself the symbol of the gratitude of the Andean peoples who offer to the Paccha Mama (mother

year, from June 17 to 23, and has crossed borders, since representatives of music and dance from Andean countries,
with similar ethnic characteristics, come to participate in the FIESTA DEL SOL.
