Miguel de Cervantes was born in a village of Madrid called Alcalá de Henares in the year 1547. In total were seven children, the era the smallest second. With 16 years still was still in the school and showed fascination by the reading and by the plays. desconoce If it was to the university, but yes know that it was a very literate man as it shows his training. Always it showed curiosity by everything and many win to learn. It enjoyed with the plays in Alcalá as for example the ones of Lope of Rueda.
It was accused to injure in a duel to an Antonio Sigura, teacher of works, and went to Rome (Italy) where read the knightly poems of Ludovico Ariosto, that had a clear influence in the work of the Quijote. It went through several Italian cities until finishing in Naples where happened 2 years.
