Dear Aunt Kelly,
How are you and Uncle Pete? I hope you're both well. Mom probably told you, but I started training at Mile Road Hospital a week ago. It has been very hard so far. I have been working at the hospital 40 hour a week. Then I have tried to study at home. I have not had much sleep recently!
But of course you should know all about that - you have been a doctor for over thirty years!
That's the reason I want to talk to you. You have worked as a GP for your whole career, and I want to ask you have you ever regretted your decision not to specialize? And when did you know this was the kind of doctor you wanted to be? I started thinking about what to do after I finish my training, you see.
Any advice you can give me would be great! Write you soon!
