Respuesta:
Agustín de Iturbide was born Morelia on September 27, 1783. His parents were Joaquín de Iturbide and Josefa de Aramburú. He continued the military career.
Between 1810 and 1816 he fought against the patriots Miguel Hidalgo, José María Morelos and Ignacio López Rayón. In 1817 he settled in Mexico City, where he remained inactive for some years. In 1820, Iturbide was summoned by Viceroy Apodaca to fight Vicente Guerrero. But in February 1821 the Abrazo de Acatempan took place where Iturbide and Guerrero signed the Plan of Iguala (02-24-1821). Here they agreed to seek independence from Mexico to implement a constitutional monarchy and defend the Catholic religion. Then he signed the Treaties of Córdoba with Juan O'Donojú, where the birth of the Mexican Empire was proclaimed.
In May 1822, Iturbide was proclaimed Emperor of Mexico with the name of Agustín I. But in December Antonio López de Santa Anna and Guadalupe Victoria rose up against him. In March 1823, Iturbide resigned and went into exile in Europe, but the following year he returned to Mexico. He landed in Tamaulipas, but his enemies captured him and shot him in Padilla on July 19, 1824.
Explicación:
Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Gallaga was born in Guanajuato on May 8, 1753. His parents were Spanish Cristóbal Hidalgo y Costilla and the Creole Ana María Gallaga.
He studied at the San Nicolás de Michoacán school. At age 17 he became a teacher of Philosophy and Theology. He was a prominent disseminator of Enlightenment ideas. In 1778 he was ordained a Priest and in 1788 he became rector of his Alma Mater.
When Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Spain in 1808, Miguel Hidalgo joined the patriotic movements working for the independence of Mexico. In the early morning of September 16, 1810, he launched the famous "Grito de Dolores" haranguing the people to take up arms and fight against the Spaniards who supported the usurper King José Bonaparte, Napoléon's brother.
The priest Hidalgo led a patriotic army that won some battles and organized a government in Guadalajara. Here he decreed the abolition of slavery and repealed indigenous taxes. However, the royalist troops managed to regain positions and defeated the patriots in the Battle of Puente de Calderón (January 17, 1811). Along with his top officers, Hidalgo was captured while escaping to the United States. He was shot in Chihuahua on July 30, 1811
