Partiendo del interés por la Guerra Civil Española, los artistas y su patrimonio artístico, nos encontramos que en este periodo estuvieron en peligro como consecuencia, principalmente, de la lucha presente en cada uno de los bandos, tanto republicano como nacional. Por esta razón; se ha planteado conocer la gravedad y el impacto que este conflicto ha causado en la trayectoria personal y artística de autores olvidados o que parecen menos relevantes en la historia.
Tras una exhausta investigación entre manuales y libros históricos y artísticos de este lapso del tiempo, se ha procedido a la elección de artistas que mutaron en todos los sentidos. Esta transformación artística ha sido definida por la búsqueda de información técnica y social de los movimientos y estilos artísticos del momento.
A partir de ello se ha realizado un análisis iconográfico y iconológico de obras con un trasfondo personal de estos artistas, las cuales quedaron olvidadas. Y finalmente se ha comprobado que existe relación entre el entorno artístico al que se expone el artista (en este caso represivo), y la deformación de su estilo y rasgos pictóricos más característicos.

And finally it has been proven that there exists a relationship between the artistic environment to which the artist is exposed (in this case: repressive), and the deformation of his most characteristic pictorial style and features.
