jack, is a young man who makes a passage for America on the Titanic (the largest and safest transatlantic boat ever built) by playing a card game. On the trip, he meets Rose, a young man from a good family, who is going to contract a marriage of convenience with Cal, a cocky millionaire. Jack and Rose fall in love on board, but Cal and Rose's mother put all kinds of obstacles in their relationship.
Unexpectedly, a huge iceberg causes the ship to sink. They begin to save the life of the passengers, first Rose by the being of the upper class, who decides to keep a Jack at his side. Sometime between the tragedy, they separate and meet again, they remain holding hands, but Jack died frozen. Rose survives and dies asleep years later.
