Why do you think that the Romans could unify their peninsula and the greeks could not?

It was like that cause romans were a entire empire, with the same king, army boss, etc
And greeks were different empires with no name located on one common place: the EGEO lake. the believed on the same things like Homero's miths, the "greeks" gods and that kind of things but they had different government... romans were the ones who called greeks the people living on that same place
