Darwin le llamó Selección Natural porque, según su teoría evolutiva, era la misma naturaleza la que ponía a prueba a todas las especies del entorno, haciendo que solo los mas aptos o los que mejor se adecuen a las condiciones del entorno, sobrevivan, como si fuera la misma naturaleza quien escogía quien sobrevive y quien no
