2. A: Last night was a nightmare!

B: Why? What happened?

A: I had forgotten to switch off the lights at my place and when I returned home, I thought

that someone had broken into my house. So, I called the police.

B: How embarrassing! What did you say to the police?

A: Oops! Sorry!

3. A: Did you have a good time at the dance the other day?

B: We didn't go because nobody invited us.

Simon looked very tired yesterday.

B: I know. It was because he did not sleep well for the past two days.
