WE ARE VISITING GRANDDA
i, it's me again, Mike. As you know, I am staying in Peru this year
because my parents are going to work here at some new ruins
they discovered in Cusco. That is why this summer we are visiting
our granddad's home in Urubamba. Rita is coming with us too. This is
our first trip together.
Granddad lives with Grandma. He also lives with Uncle Cesar, the
youngest of dad's brothers, and he is a farmer just like Granddad. Our
grandparents have three boys. My dad, Joseph, is the oldest brother.
Then there is Uncle Daniel and, finally, Uncle Cesar. He has a kid with
his wife Flavia, our cousin Sergio.
Sergio is a 14-year-old, slim and talkative kid. He is older than we
are. Paloma is taller than Sergio is. They know each other very well
because Paloma travels to Cusco every summer.
Sergio is cool and Paloma is always making jokes. He also asks me
about the USA and New York. After that, we go for a walk in the
countryside.
