Communication as a human process has changed substantially with the

emergence of the mass media. In fact, it went from a mainly oral communication to a written communication, which later reached the

audiovisual category. This represented a change, not only in the form of communication in essence, but in the codes used and in the configuration of the traditional

sender-message-receiver scheme. But in addition, a huge series of

variations in the channel, since the mass media stood as a great

infinite channel, in which noise was present - sometimes too much - and which allowed

multiply the number of receivers to incalculable limits.
