Yesterday, I went to a store and bought apples, flour and a bottle of water. Then, I walked back home slowly. Once I got home, I baked a cake with the ingredients I bought in the store. While it was in the oven, I played a game with my brother. The cake was ready. My family and I ate it for dinner that night. It was delicious!
Las frases en pasado simple son frases que nos describen hechos del pasado ya acabados o que nos hablan de varios hechos ocurridos uno después del otro. Esto se puede ver en el texto, ya que trata de unos sucesos que ya han sido acabados y a su vez de unos sucesos que transcurren uno por uno.
La estructura para escribir frases en pasado simple se encuentra en el verbo, el cual, dependiendo de si es irregular o regular, se escribe de una forma u otra:
- Irregular: Si es un verbo irregular, se escribe su forma correspondiente. (Buy/Bought) (Eat/Ate)
- Regular: Si el verbo es regular se le tendrá que añadir "-ed" al final. (Walk/Walked) (Play/Played)
