En el first conditional después del "if" siempre va el verbo en presente, por ejemplo "if I go", después de eso va lo que va a pasar cuando haces esa acción, o sea "if I go, my dog will be alone", esto que se escribe después debe de llevar el "will" como lo acabo de poner, esa pequeña palabra convierte los verbos a futuro
