What are some interesting handicrafts made in Ecuador for tourists?

My favorite craft is fabric embroideries as they look very pretty and require a lot of work to do. I like them and I recommend them because you can decorate various things with them such as bags, shoes, bracelets, hats and even clothes.
The materials that are generally used are threads, markers, pencil and a tracing paper if we want to copy a design, although this also varies depending on the type of embroidery that we are going to make.

My favorite art or handicraft are sculptures carved from stone, wood, or some other hard material. Normally, this type of art is usually to decorate around a house, depending on its size. For example, one of my favorites is the David by Michelangelo.
The reasons why I like it are:
- Its complexity.
- The detail.
- Precision.
- The representation of the object with hyperrealism.
