Hola! La estructura de este tiempo es muy fácil, sólo le pones:
 Subject : (I, you, he she. it, we, you, they) o un nombre
 Verb To Be: am, is, are (según el pronoun que uses)
 Verb + ing : for example; read + ing = reading. (se le llama Gerund)

+ My friends and I are studying for tomorrow's test.
- My friends and I aren't studying for tomorrow's test.

(Como ves, para pasarlas al negativo solo agregas la palabra "not" después de tu verbo "To Be"; o en su lugar la contracción " n't " )

+ I am running faster and faster every day.
- I am not running faster and faster every day.

+ Jhon and Carl are talking on the phone.

+Marley and I are taking a cold shower.
