They say that that night the woman woke up her young children - a boy and a girl -, took a dagger and took them to the river, which remained very close to her home. Standing there, blind with courage, she stabbed them several times until she left them lifeless.

Minutes later she reacts and, realizing what she had done,  then she desperately runs downstream and uttered the chilling scream with which we identify her.

Since that night no more was heard of her and she became a myth. Those who swear they have heard her say that she is wandering through the streets and parks of Mexico City, as well as the canals of Xochimilc.
