El "and you" si  bien es correcto usarlo es como muy basico, muy de bebe recien aprendiendo a hablar, no es comun ver que alguien use esa expresion ademas usado repetidas veces causa molestia o monotonia, puedes usar el "what about you", "how about you", que es lo mismo, "y tu? que hay de ti? ", lo mismo.
