Los elementos químicos se clasifican en la tabla periódica en metales o no metales, debido a sus características físicas y químicas, los metales se localizan en el lado izquierdo de la tabla periódica y los no metales en el lado derecho. Toda la materia en el universo está constituida de átomos, es importante saber su estructura atómica y analizar sus propiedades en el laboratorio. Es bueno conocer su reacción química para obtener otros materiales y seleccionarlos por sus usos en la vida cotidiana.

Abstract
The chemical elements are classified in the periodic table in metals or no metals, due to its physical and chemical characteristics, the metals are located on the left side of the periodic table and the no metals on the right side. All the matter in the universe is made of atoms, is important to know its atomic structure and analyze their properties in the laboratory. It is good to know their chemical reaction to obtain other materials and select them for their uses in the daily life.
