This is an ancient board game for
two players. It originated in China

game was very popular among both

People played on a square board
that had horizontal and vertical lines

got
the same number of markers.
Each time one line touched another they formed an intersection or point. The
players took turns placing stones on the intersections. They built their positions
on the board by placing a new stone at each turn. Once a stone was placed on

the most points on the board.
