Globalization sometimes has some negative
effects on local traditions. For example, in Mexico,
globalization has affected the tradition of the Día de
Muertos and our artisans who sell traditional decorations
and pan de muerto. The main problem is that many children
no longer celebrate Día de Muertos, they prefer to celebrate Halloween. To solve
this problem we should support local artisans, and big retail stores should help
sell their traditional products. Also, local and national media should promote this
