El pasado simple describe acciones acabadas, el pasado continuo no específica  si las acciones fueron finalizadas o no  .EJEMPLO.                                         He  travelled  around the world                                                                          -El viajo por todo el mundo                                                                                I was travelling around the world                                                                      -Estaba viajando por todo el mundo
