Recently, my family and I went to a park. It was large and beautiful, and there were many activities to do. For example, there was a large lake filled with fish. My father caught six fish. There was a picnic area with barbecue grills. This is where my mother cooked the fish. While Mom cooked, we played in the play area. There was a lot of grass, and many trees and flowers. My sister picked flowers and played with her dolls. My brother and I played ball in the grass. Then everybody swam in the lake before we ate dinner. There were several trails for walking. After dinner, we went for a walk. The park had a small store. The store sold chewing gum, candy, soda and pretzels. We bought pretzels and soda. The park had a dining area with chairs and tables, so we sat there and ate our snack. We had a good time at the park.
