The Environment in My Town
The environment in my town has improved a lot in recent years. All of my neighbors put into practice
some green ideas. For example, we all have to sort our garbage into organic and inorganic bins
and we have to recycle glass, plastic and aluminum. In addition, one factory has been closed for
polluting the river. But we could still do a lot more. If the town planted more trees, the streets would
be cooler and look nicer too. I think people would use their cars less if public transportation were
better, and we would save a lot of money on energy if the government put solar panels on schools
and public buildings. Overall, we are doing well, but we could do it better.
