1. We have already/just bought the book.

Both of the answers are correct. Already stands for: That the subject has done the action some time ago. Just stands for: The subject has done the action in that moment. But Since stands for: The subject is doing an action until that moment after another action or event happened.

2. Megan has never gone to that restaurant.

Never is the correct answer, because it means that the subject (in this case Megan) hasn't been to the restaurant. Ever stands for something similar, but never is more properly used in this sentence.

3. Peter has been living in New York since he was a child.

Since is the correct answer, because Peter has been living (action) in New York since he was a child (the event).
