*Why do flowers have different colors and shapes?
*About what kinds of things can you ask questions for which
science has answers?

fvanessaadelaida: Flowers come in all shapes and sizes, but what really sets them apart is their vibrant colors. These colors are made up of pigments, and generally the fewer pigments, the lighter the color.
fvanessaadelaida: The most common pigments in flowers are in the form of anthocyanins. These pigments range in color from white to red, to blue, to yellow, to violet, and even to black and brown. A different kind of class of pigments is made up of carotenoids.
fvanessaadelaida: Carotenoids are responsible for some yellows, oranges, and reds. (These little ones are what cause the bright colors of fall leaves!) While many flowers get their colors from anthocyanins or carotenoids, there are some that can get their colors from a combination of both espero y te ayude esto
