REGLAS DE SIGNOS PARA LA MULTIPLICACIÓN

[positivo] * [positivo] = [positivo]
[negativo] * [negativo] = [positivo]
[positivo] * [negativo] = [negativo]
[negativo] * [positivo] = [negativo]

En definitiva, cuando los signos son iguales el resultado queda positivo. Y si son distintos, quedará negativo.
