Explicación:

El tercer condicional en inglés se usa cuando se habla en el pasado donde se describe algo que no ocurrió, y el resultado que hubiera obtenido

Ej:

"If I had studied, I would have passed the test"

(Si hubiera estudiado, habría pasado el exámen)
