Waiter. What would you like to eat?
David: As an appetizer (US) / a starter (UK), I would like the warm goat cheese
salad. For the main course, I'll have the seafood platter. And for dessert, I'll have the crème
brolée.
Waiter: Okay. And to drink?
David: A bottle of still water, please
Waiter: Right away.
An hour later...

Camarero: ¿Te gustaría comer en la terraza o en el interior?

David: Prefiero una mesa adentro, cerca de la ventana.

Camarero: Por aquí... Aquí está el menú. ¿Quisiera una bebida?

David: No, gracias

Camarero: ¿Qué le gustaría comer?

David: Como aperitivo, me gustaría la ensalada tibia de queso de cabra. Para el plato principal, tomaré la fuente de mariscos. Y de postre, tomaré la crème brolée.

Camarero: De acuerdo. ¿Y para beber?

David: Una botella de agua sin gas, por favor.

Camarero: De inmediato.

Una hora más tarde...

David: ¿Me puede dar la cuenta, por favor?
