. Mountain gorillas
Gorilla meat and souvenirs made from this animal are sold at extremely high prices; As incredible as the fact that they are disappearing may seem, it has only increased their value in the market. Poaching, as well as the destruction of their natural habitat -forests- for the production of wood and the creation of certain plantations in these areas have made almost all gorilla species in danger of extinction. Speaking specifically of the Mountain Gorilla, there are around 600 specimens distributed in different parts of Africa.
Andean Cat
Little is known about this feline. Exotic in appearance, it is one of the rarest and most threatened of its species. The only countries in the world that inhabit are Argentina, Peru, Chile and Bolivia, and it is on the red list of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The reason for the reduction of these animals are inadequate practices in livestock and agriculture. Their main food is the vizcachas, but because humans also hunt them they must fight for their food.
