nicole used 24 pieces of fruit .if 1/6 of them were peaches how many peaches in all did janeen an nicole use to make their fruit salads? explaint how you found your answer

Sorry but my English is not so good, i hope understand my explaint:If Nicole use 1/6 from 24 pieces

means that 24 is divided in 6 equal parts:

24/6 = 4

Janeen and Nicole only use one of this six parts, then:

1*4 = 4

Nicole and Janeen use for your salad:

4 peaches.
