Necesito una historia en ingles con verbos en pasado simple y pasado continuo

There I was, sit in my favorite sofa. That was a weird night, I don´t knew why until I saw to someone in the background through my window. I saw to somebody, like a man, tall, with dark clothes and he was seeing me too. I was scared but I wanted to know who was him. When I was opening the door I felt a little weird feeling and that made the man disappeared. 
I can´t sleep that night.
