Making Video Games
If you like playing video games, you'll probably love making them. Producing video
games is a big business, with worldwide sales of around fifty billion dollars a year, so
there are lots of jobs available.
More than 100 experts may work on a single game if it is complicated. First the authors
choose a genre-such as combat, racing or adventure-and write the story. Then video
artists create the characters and background. The next stage, programming, can take a
long time, as some games require literally millions of instructions. Finally testers play
different parts of the game over and over again to check for errors.

Grand Theft Auto IV, cosi 100 million dollars and took
1,000 people almost four years to produce.
You might earn a lot of money if you get a job
in this industry but you won't have much time
