NOISES IN THE NIGHT
It was about two o´clock in the morning, and (1)sudden/ suddenly I woke up. I heard a (2) loud / loudly noise. I got out of bed and went (3) slow/slowly downstairs. There was a light on in the living room. I listened (4)careful/carefully. I could hear two men speaking very (5)quiet/quietly. “Thieves!” I thought. “Two thieves!” Immediately, I ran back upstairs and phoned the pólice. I was (6)real/really frightened. Fortunately, the police arrived (7)quick/quickly. They opened the front door and went into the living room. Then, they came upstairs to find me. “It’s all right now, Sr, “they explained. “ we turned the television off for you”!
